Front bumper lip for the Seal U DM-i / Song Plus
The front lip is the piece most owners start with. The front bumper lip for BYD SEAL U DM-i (BYD SONG PLUS) is designed for the lower front bumper. It gives the nose a lower, more finished look without changing the bumper itself, which makes it a good first step if you are not sure about a full kit. The lip comes in two finishes, smoke grey and gloss black, so you can choose a subtle contrast or a deeper black edge.

Rear bumper diffuser
The rear diffuser balances the look of the front lip. Without it, a car with a front lip and spoilers can look unfinished from behind. The rear bumper diffuser for BYD SEAL U DM-i (BYD SONG PLUS) is designed for the rear bumper area and gives the lower rear a darker, sportier finish. Like the front lip, it comes in smoke grey or gloss black, and choosing the same finish front and rear keeps the look consistent.

This is where the Seal U DM-i / Song Plus kit differs from many others: it has two spoilers. The roof spoiler wing for BYD SEAL U DM-i (BYD SONG PLUS) is designed for the rear roof area and extends the roof line over the rear window. The mid spoiler wing for BYD SEAL U DM-i (BYD SONG PLUS) sits lower on the tailgate, below the rear window, and adds a second line across the rear. Both spoilers come in gloss black or a carbon-fibre pattern finish.
Together, the two spoilers give the tailgate a layered look. Many owners fit just one: the roof spoiler for a cleaner, longer roof line, or the mid spoiler for a sportier rear. Both are styling parts. On an SUV driven at road speeds they change the look, not the handling.
When fitting either spoiler, check that the tailgate opens and closes freely, that the rear wiper and rear camera are clear, and that nothing covers the third brake light. Finishing touches

Fitting the kit: order and checks
Most owners use a body shop or accessory fitter. If you fit the parts yourself, follow this order:
- Check the parts against the car. Before you remove any protective film, hold each piece in place and check the fit, gaps and ends.
- Clean and prepare. Wash and degrease the mounting areas, and fix any damage to the bumpers first.
- Front lip. Centre it on the bumper and check that both ends sit evenly before fixing.
- Rear diffuser. Line it up with the rear bumper and keep sensor areas clear.
- Spoilers. Fit the roof spoiler and mid spoiler last, with the tailgate closed to check alignment.
- Test everything. Parking sensors, the rear camera, the tailgate and the wiper should all work as before.
