A BYD Sealion 7 body kit usually combines four pieces made for this SUV: a front bumper lip, side skirts, a rear bumper diffuser and a roof spoiler. You can order them as one matched gloss black kit or one at a time. The main choices are finish, which pieces you need and the order you fit them.
This guide covers the Sealion 7 only. The BYD Seal sedan has its own parts and its own BYD Seal body kit guide, and the Sealion 6 / Song Plus and Sealion 06 are different cars with different bumpers. Everything below is about the Sealion 7 parts in our BYD Sealion 7 accessories range.
If kits are new to you, read what a car body kit is first. If you are buying in Europe, jump to the European prices and delivery section, and if you are comparing styles in general, our guide to universal vs vehicle-specific body kits explains why a part made for one model matters.

What is in a BYD Sealion 7 body kit?
Each piece changes a different part of the car’s outline. Here is what each one does, with the product page for the Sealion 7 version.
| Part | What it changes | Sealion 7 product |
|---|---|---|
| Full kit | All four pieces in one gloss black finish | Gloss black body kit for BYD Sealion 7 |
| Front lip | Lowers and sharpens the front bumper edge | Front bumper lip for BYD Sealion 7 |
| Side skirts | Links the front and rear along the sills | Side skirts for BYD Sealion 7 |
| Rear diffuser | Finishes the lower rear bumper | Rear bumper diffuser for BYD Sealion 7 |
| Roof spoiler | Extends the roof line at the top of the tailgate | Roof spoiler wing for BYD Sealion 7 |
On a road car these parts are mainly about looks. They make the Sealion 7 look lower and more planted, but they are not a performance upgrade, so choose them for the style you want.
Full gloss black kit or individual pieces?
The gloss black body kit for BYD Sealion 7 brings the front lip, rear diffuser, side skirts and roof spoiler together in one finish for 2024–2025 vehicles. Buying the set means every piece matches, and you only arrange shipping and fitting once.
Buying piece by piece suits owners who want to spread the cost, or who only want one change, such as a lip, without the full look. A common order is lip first, then skirts and diffuser, then the spoiler. Our guide to full body kit or individual parts helps you decide, and how much a body kit costs explains how parts, paint, fitting and shipping add up.
| You want… | Better choice |
|---|---|
| A finished, matched look in one go | Full gloss black kit |
| A subtle change with a small budget | Front lip on its own |
| A lower side profile without changing the rear | Lip + side skirts |
| Stock for a shop or online store | Kits plus single pieces, so customers can choose |
BYD Sealion 7 front lip
The front lip is the piece most owners start with. It runs along the lower edge of the front bumper and gives the nose a lower, sharper look without changing the bumper itself. The front bumper lip for BYD Sealion 7 is shaped for this car’s lower front, so the ends should follow the bumper corners evenly.
Two practical points for daily use. First, a lip lowers the front edge, so think about steep driveways, car park ramps and kerbs you use often. Second, the lower front of a modern BYD carries sensors and camera views that must stay clear, so check them after fitting. To see how a lip differs from a splitter or air dam, read what is a front lip, or compare other shapes in BYD front bumper lips.

BYD Sealion 7 side skirts
Side skirts carry the line of the front lip back to the rear bumper. On a coupe-SUV like the Sealion 7, they visually lower the long body side between the arches, which is why many owners add them soon after the lip. The side skirts for BYD Sealion 7 follow the car’s sill line from arch to arch.
When fitting, check that the doors open and close without touching the skirts, that the jacking points can still be reached, and that the height matches on both sides. Measure at the front, middle and rear of each skirt before you fix it. More models and styles are in BYD side skirts.

BYD Sealion 7 rear diffuser
The rear diffuser finishes the lower rear bumper and balances the look of the front lip. Without it, a lipped and skirted Sealion 7 can look unfinished from behind. The rear bumper diffuser for BYD Sealion 7 is shaped for this car’s rear bumper.
The rear bumper carries parking sensors and the number plate area, so mark the sensors before fitting and test them in reverse afterwards. If your Sealion 7 has a tow bar, or you plan to fit one, tell us before you order the diffuser and send a photo of the lower rear bumper. We will check the area around the tow bar with you. You can browse other rear styles in BYD rear bumper diffusers.

BYD Sealion 7 roof spoiler
The Sealion 7 has a tailgate, so its spoiler sits at the top of the rear window as a roof spoiler, not on a boot lid. The roof spoiler wing for BYD Sealion 7 extends the roof line and is the final piece of the full kit. Many owners run the lip, skirts and diffuser without it, so treat it as optional.
If you are still choosing a style, our guides to trunk spoiler vs roof spoiler and the types of car spoilers explain the options. For fitting steps, see how to install a rear spoiler.

Finish, material and paint
The full Sealion 7 kit comes in gloss black, which contrasts with most body colours and needs no paint. If you would rather match the body colour, a paint shop can prep and paint the parts before the final fit. Most Marvix exterior styling parts are ABS, with some PP options. Our comparison of PP, ABS, fiberglass and carbon fiber body kits explains how each material behaves under paint.
On light colours, a gloss black lip, skirts and diffuser give a sporty two-tone look. On dark blue or black cars the effect is quieter, so check the on-car photos on each product page to see how the parts look against your paint.
Fitment checklist for Sealion 7 owners
- Confirm the car is a Sealion 7. Check the tailgate badge or your registration papers. If you are unsure of the model or year, send us a photo.
- Compare the on-car photos on each product page with your own bumpers and sills.
- Note any extras on your car such as a tow bar, aftermarket mud flaps or plate brackets, and mention them when you order.
- Mark sensors and cameras front and rear before fitting.
- Plan the finish — gloss black as supplied, or body colour with your paint shop.
- Book fitting. Pre-finished pieces are a careful DIY job; body-colour paint is a shop job.
Not sure about any of these? Send us your model, year and a few photos of the front, side and rear, and we will check the fit with you before you order.
How the Sealion 7 parts are installed: 3M tape plus screws
Our Sealion 7 parts are bolted on, not just stuck on. Each piece is fixed with 3M automotive adhesive tape and screws together, so the part is held mechanically as well as by the adhesive. Nothing relies on tape alone, which is the usual worry with stick-on parts at motorway speeds and in car washes.
Typical fitting steps
- Clean and dry-fit. Wash and degrease the fitting area, then hold each piece in place without removing the tape backing. Check the gap along the whole edge.
- Mark the position. Use masking tape as a guide so the part goes back to the same place.
- Prepare the screw points. Follow the hardware and instructions supplied with your parts. Mark any sensor or camera positions first.
- Fix with tape, then screws. Press the part onto the 3M tape for the recommended time, then fit and tighten the screws evenly without over-tightening the plastic.
- Check clearances. Open and close the doors, test the parking sensors in reverse, and look at the part from several angles.
Fit the kit front to rear: lip, then side skirts, then rear diffuser, then the roof spoiler. Temperatures matter for adhesive, so fit in a dry, warm workshop rather than outdoors in the cold. A workshop can usually fit a full kit in a short visit, and a careful DIY owner can do single pieces such as the lip. For the general method, read how to install a body kit, and see how to install a rear spoiler for the roof spoiler. Every Marvix exterior part comes with fitment and installation support, so if something does not line up during the dry-fit, stop and send us photos.
Care and maintenance
Gloss black shows dust and water marks quickly, so wash it with the rest of the car using a soft mitt and a pH-neutral shampoo. Avoid abrasive polishes and harsh brushes, and be gentle with a pressure washer: keep the nozzle a sensible distance away and do not aim the jet at the edges of the parts. A coat of wax or a ceramic spray helps keep the gloss, and the lower parts will pick up road grime and small scuffs, so wipe them down regularly.
Sealion 7 sold in Europe, imported from China or bought overseas
The Sealion 7 is sold in several markets, and not every car reached its owner through a local dealer. The parts in this guide also suit cars that were parallel-imported from China, and overseas-market versions bought locally, including the Sealion 7 sold in Europe. Whether you bought yours new from a dealer or through an import, the best way to be sure is simple: send us photos of the front bumper, sills and rear of your car, and we will check them against the part before you order.
Sealion 7 body kit prices and delivery in Europe
If you buy in Europe, local retailers are the obvious first stop, so it helps to know what they charge. We checked three European and UK shops that list Sealion 7 styling parts. The prices below are as shown on each page on 15 October 2026, in the currency shown, including VAT as stated by the retailer, and before shipping. Parts differ in design and in what is included, so treat this as a guide to price level, not a like-for-like quote.

What this means for your budget
Adding up the German prices above, a front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser come to €647 incl. VAT, before shipping and fitting, and each spoiler piece adds €144. In Ireland the same three parts add up to €677 incl. VAT. A made-to-order lip or skirt set can take around two months to arrive from the German shop, while in-stock items are listed at days rather than weeks. Fitting, and paint if you want body colour, are extra. Our guide on how much a body kit costs breaks those extras down.

If you would rather buy direct, we ship Sealion 7 parts from China to Europe. Shipping cost depends on the country, the exact delivery address and the parts in the order, so prices vary a lot between destinations. Frequently Asked Questions
What does a BYD Sealion 7 body kit include?
Our gloss black Sealion 7 kit includes a front bumper lip, side skirts, a rear bumper diffuser and a roof spoiler. Each piece is also sold on its own.
Will BYD Seal body kit parts fit the Sealion 7?
No. The Seal is a sedan and the Sealion 7 is a coupe-SUV with different bumpers and sills. Use the parts listed for the Sealion 7, and see the BYD Seal body kit guide if you own a Seal.
Can I buy just the Sealion 7 front lip or side skirts?
Yes. The front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser and roof spoiler are each sold separately, so you can build the kit in stages.
Do I need the roof spoiler?
No. Many owners stop at the lip, skirts and diffuser. Add the spoiler if you want the full look from the rear.
My Sealion 7 has a tow bar. Can I still fit the rear diffuser?
Tell us before you order and send a photo of the lower rear bumper with the tow bar fitted. We will look at the area with you so you know what to expect before you buy.
How are the Sealion 7 parts fixed to the car?
With 3M automotive adhesive tape plus screws. The screws hold the part mechanically, so it does not rely on adhesive alone.
Do these parts suit a Sealion 7 imported from China or sold in Europe?
Yes. They also suit cars parallel-imported from China and overseas-market versions bought locally, including the Sealion 7 sold in Europe. Send photos of your car and we will check before you order.
How much does a Sealion 7 body kit cost in Europe?
On 15 October 2026, the retailers in our table listed individual lips, skirts and diffusers from about €199 to €259 including VAT, before shipping. Prices from Marvix depend on your country, so contact us for a quote.
How long does delivery take?
Local retailers list anything from a few days for in-stock parts to around two months for made-to-order parts. For shipments from Marvix, tell us your country and we will give you a delivery estimate with your quote.
Can I paint the parts or keep them gloss black?
Both. Gloss black needs no paint, and a paint shop can match body colour before the final fit.
Is a full kit better than single parts?
A full kit gives a matched look and one delivery. Single parts spread the cost and let you start with the lip. See choosing between a kit and single parts, or read full body kit or individual parts.
Do you ship Sealion 7 body kits to my country?
We ship large parts to all countries. Brazil, Colombia and Mexico use EXW, FOB or DAP terms, and the buyer handles customs clearance and taxes. Other countries can also choose DDP for samples, retail orders and dropshipping.
